Project Description
Jeremy Kidd’s fictional realities present dramatic details of diverse urban landscapes photographed from all different angles while recreated, expanded, minimized, deleted and multiplied. Disorientating, yet closer to the way we actually catch glimpses of and interpret our own surroundings, these digitally manipulated photographic panoramas speak of what the camera saw, yet simultaneously translate the artist’s personalized perceptions.
Jeremy Kidd’s work is currently represented in London, Los Angeles and San Francisco and has been exhibited at the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art in Ridgefield, CT; the Orange County Museum of Art in Los Angeles; the Irvine Fine Arts Center in Irvine, CA; the Laguna Art Museum in Laguna Beach CA; and Deutsche Bank in London, among many others.
